From a simple promise
to lasting opportunity.
Founded in July 2016 in Indianapolis, Indiana, Friends International to Share Happiness Inc (FISH) was created around a core humanitarian realization: talent is distributed equally across the world, but opportunity is not.
In post-conflict and developing areas of Liberia, hundreds of thousands of children face economic barriers preventing them from completing basic schooling. Without elementary literacy and numeracy, the path forward is severely restricted.
FISH was established as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity to champion these young students—providing not only learning materials and tuition support, but a community founded on warmth, mutual respect, and joy.
